| So I think I'm pretty much done with this whole xanga thing. As you have probably noticed, I'm not really into keeping this thing updated. Plus I have converted to myspace. So if you want to contact me, you can do so through myspace. It was fun while it lasted...see ya, folks!

| So I have some very exciting news...today I became an aunt
again!!! My sister-in-law had a beautiful, healthy baby boy this morning. His
name is Jackson Louis, but he will go by Jack. He is a BIG boy...9lbs. 8oz.; 22
inches long and has a head full of hair. He looks just like his big brother, Andrew, did when he was born.
We are all very excited! We were able to go to the hospital today and see him...there's
just nothing like holding a little baby in your arms. I've included some
pictures of little Jack for you to see. Isn't he just so precious?!!!

Looking at his Grammy
Poppy talking to Jack about them playing football together!
Jack and his favorite aunt!
Sleeping with his mouth open in Aunt Megan's arms!

Proud mommy and daddy!

| Well I guess I should update, shouldn't I? So here I am, doing just that! This past weekend was Erin & Kyle's wedding. It was beautiful! Erin looked so pretty....Kyle couldn't even look at her as she came down the aisle becuase he was trying not to cry. Awww!!! It was a nice ceremony. And the reception was great too. Of course, us HHers had to bust out some old hip-hop moves on the dance floor and the guys did their dance they used to do on their dorm floor. It was a fun time!! I am so happy for the new husband and wife...but also sad because now they will be living in another state. That's just the way life works I guess. Sometimes it's just no fun growing up!
Other news...my sister will be home in less than a month!!!!! YEAH!!!!! Please keep praying for her and the team. God is doing some awesome things through them....I'm sure she'll tell you plenty of stories when she gets back. She is doing great though. I'm looking forward to having her back in good ol Michigan with us!
I'll leave you with this: Galatians 2:10 "Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God?" Think about it. In work, school, your actions, life, anything....are you doing it for man or for God? Don't worry about what people think, just worry if God is pleased with what you do. That is our purpose for being here anyways...to live for him. If we do that and follow what he says, then we will have his approval...the one and only approval we really need! | | |
| This past weekend was great! On Saturday, we had 2 Easter egg hunts that we did...one at my church and one at our outreach area. They both went very well! And the weather was beautiful for it! I enjoyed the one at my church because my ADORABLE nephew was there!!! He was soooo sad though because "Poppy" wasn't there. (He loves his "Poppy"!) But he cheered up fast and filled his little bag with candy! I loved doing the one in our outreach area too beause I love outreach!!! It was good to be back doing that again. We are going to start doing outreach every weekend...I can't wait! At both of the Easter egg hunts, people accepted Christ...God is good! Then Sunday was good too. We went to my aunt & uncle's house and celebrated Easter with some of my family. I haven't seen some of them in awhile, so it was really nice. Of course, having two boy cousins, we played basketball. They didn't beat me everytime though! One of my favorite things was the chocolate fountain! To dip in the chocolate were things like strawberries, pretzels, and marshmallows. It was sooo yummy! I think though that the highlight of the afternoon was the jump-rope contest. Yes, you read that correctly....I said jump-rope contest. And yes, my parents were among the participants....that's not something you see everyday! I am proud to say that I was the champion with a whopping 29 jumps. I love my family...God has truly blessed me with such a great family! Hope you all had a happy and blessed Easter!
